Talent Show

Thank you to all of the students that participated in the talent show, the teachers who helped run the event, and parents who helped their children practice.  It was a great success and a wonderful evening and school event.                                                                                                                       

 Easter Break

 Below will highlight the days off for our Easter break.

Friday, April 15 – Students are dismissed at 12:00. There is no lunch nor after care in the afternoon.  There is a Good Friday service at 12:30 if you are interested in attending.

April 18 – 22 – No School for Easter Break

  Easter Service

If you are looking for a place to workship this Easter, all of our school families are invited to Shepherd of the Hills. We have one servcie at 8:00 with an amazing breakfast following the service.  We hope to see you there.
                                                                                                     If you would like to donate candy to fill the eggs for our Easter Sunday Egg Hunt, please send it to school with your child any day this week. Candy can be given to Pastor Boehm when he greets the students in the morning (he might not even eat it!) or taken to the classroom if he is unavailable. Thank you! 

 

School Play

We are planning our final school event for the year which is our School Play which will take place on Thursday, June 2, at 6:30.  All students from K-8 are encouraged to participate.  If your child is unable to participate, please let their teacher know so that we can plan accordingly.  

 

Good Shepherd Bible Camp

For all students entering grades 4th and above are invited to attend Good Shepherd Bible Camp which is a week long camp in Big Bear during the week of July 10-16.

Here is link to the website which will have more information and registration.  They are always looking for volunteers if any parents want to come along with their children.  If you want more information, you can talk to Pastor Boehm or Anna Vogel, or our local Bible Camp cheerleader, Judith Vogel. 

Track Meet

Our next athletic event for the school year is the Track Meet.  This event is open for all students from grades 1-8.  The track meet will take place on Saturday, May 7, in Garden Grove.  It starts at 9:30 and usually ends around 1:00/2:00.  

 

Bible Information Class

What really matters in life? Health? Friendships? Family? Money? We give these things much of our attention, and rightfully so – they’re very important to us!  But…are they what matters most, and how can we know? Come and discover what matters most on Thursday, April 28, at 6:30 p.m., when Pastor Boehm will study with you to seek out the answers to life’s most important questions!
