The children did a great job singing this morning!  Thank you to everyone who was able to make it.

Track Meet

This Saturday is the Track Meet at Carlsbad High School (See address below).  The first event will start at 9:30, and the gates will open at 9:00 a.m.  When you arrive, we will have name tags for the students with all of their events.  They will announce the races for the students, but the students are responsible for getting to all of the field events before lunch.  Finally, students should wear their school shirts.  If you have any questions, please let me know.

 Principal for a Day

This Wednesday is the principal’s day for a day on which a student won our Gala. He has chosen “Lego Day” as the theme.  Students can dress in some lego attire or wear yellow.  We will have some fun events planned for the day.

 Future School Events

Below is an update on some of the future school events for this Spring.

Track Meet (May 4) – Students in grades 1-8 can participate in a Track Meet in Carlsbad.

Talent Show (May 16) – We are planning on having a Talent Show on May 16 starting at 6:30.

Graduation (May 30) – We will celebrate our K and 8th grade graduates at 6:30.

School Pictures – Yearbook

Each year, students are able to purchase a yearbook that has class photos and highlights from throughout the year.  Sheena Carter is kind enough to put together the yearbook for the school. If you have any pictures from school events that would work for the yearbook, please share them with her through Google Photos – [email protected].

For those that have an 8th-grade student who is graduating, each student receives their own page in the yearbook with pics throughout their life and, if you so desire, a special message from their parents/guardians.  These items can also be sent to Sheena Carter.
