Basketball Games

This coming Friday, our first set of basketball games will be held at CLHS in Temecula.  The boys’ team will play two games – 1:15 and 3:00. We plan to leave at noon and return around 5:30, depending on traffic.
Please take a moment to fill out this permission slip to let us know if your child can participate and if you can help with driving.

The girls games have been moved to January 14 and 21 at Reformation in Claremont.  Their games will start at 3:30.

Basketball Uniforms

Basketball uniforms were sent home before break.  The uniforms are given to the students for the entire season. They can keep them at home and will be returned after the season.  Students are responsible for the uniforms and should care for them appropriately.

GLOW KIDS – Book to Read

As a parent, have you ever wrestled with decisions about how much screen time your child should have?  Have you ever thought about when I should let them use a phone or be able to use TikTok or social media?  Have you ever considered if your child might be addicted to screens or what might happen if your household took a two-week break from screens?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, you might want to check out a book called “Glow Kids,” which looks at years upon years of research and the effect that screens are having on our children.  It is very eye opening to see the damage that screen and screen addiction can have upon kids in our society.
