Tuesday and Wednesday – Parking Lot
This Tuesday and Wednesday, SOTH will be hosting a pastor’s conference. This may bring some changes or difficulties with drop-off and pick-up with more cars in the parking lot. We ask that everyone maintain patience and drive slowly during the next couple of days. Thank you!
Trunk or Treat – THIS SATURDAY
We have scheduled our Trunk or Treat event for this year – October 25. If you are interested in helping out, please take a moment to fill out this survey to let us know.
Lego League Practice
Thursday: 1:00 – 3:00 (Optional) Since there are parent-teacher conferences this week, students are welcome to have lunch, recess, and then work on Lego League if they so desire.
Saturday: 9:30 – 12:00
Vogel’s Call to CLHS
This past week, Mr. and Mrs. Vogel received calls to teach and be principal at CLHS and CLA up in Temecula. The Vogels are not looking to leave SOTH, but the high school and grade school in our association have vacancies and are asking them to fill those vacancies.
Over the next month, the Vogels will consider where best they can serve, whether it be to continue at SOTH or to make the transition to CLHS and CLA next school year. We welcome any feedback on our time and service here at SOTH.
K-5 Field Trip – Oma’s Pumpkin Patch
The K-5 students will be taking a field trip to Oma’s Pumpkin Farm this Tuesday.
Parent-Teacher Conferences
Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for October 22-24. We will have half days of school on Thursday and Friday that week. HERE is the link to sign up for an allotted time. Please note the teachers and classrooms when signing up. If none of those times work for you, don’t hesitate to contact your child’s teacher to set up another time. Please sign up by Tuesday, so the teachers can plan the rest of their week.
Wednesday (Full Day) – Conferences from 3:30 – 6:30
Thursday (Half Day – 12:00) – Conferences from 12:30 – 6:30
Friday (Half Day – 12:00) – Conferences from 12:30 – 4:00
Aftercare will be available on Thursday and Friday with the half days, and students will be dismissed at 12:00.
