Basketball Uniforms

Basketball uniforms will be sent home this week.  The uniforms are given to the students for the entire season. They can keep them at home and will be returned after the season.  Students are responsible for the uniforms and should care for them appropriately.

GLOW KIDS – Book to Read

As a parent, have you ever wrestled with decisions about how much screen time your child should have?  Have you ever thought about when I should let them use a phone, TikTok, or other social media?  Have you ever considered if your child might be addicted to screens or what might happen if your household took a two-week break from screens?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, you might want to check out a book called “Glow Kids,” which draws on years of research to examine the effects screens are having on our children.  It is very eye-opening to see the damage that screens and screen addiction can have on kids in our society.  If any parent woudl like advice when it comes to handing technology-use at home, please let me know.
