Basketball Practice
Basketball practices start this week with practices on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 – 4:15.
Calendar Update – Dec. 21
The last day of school before Christmas break is Dec. 21. We have planned to have our Christmas parties in the morning and go caroling in the afternoon. We are still working on finding an assisted living center for us to go caroling. Please consider if you can help drive students so they can share news of Jesus with others.

Cocoa and Carols – This Friday
We want to invite our school families to a couple of special events to celebrate Christmas and our Savior’s birth.
Friday, December 15, at 6:30 – Join us for a hot chocolate bar and fireside Christmas carols.
Sunday, December 24, Christmas Eve Service 9:00 and 6:30 (Candlelight Service)
Christmas Break
Just a reminder that our last day of school before Christmas break is Thursday, December 21, and school will resume on Monday, January 8.
Christmas Service
Each year, Shepherd of the Hills students participate in our Children’s Christmas Service. This year, the service will take place on Monday, December 18, at 6:30. This is one of the school year’s highlights, where students lead the story of Jesus’s birth through recitation and singing. If your child cannot make this service, please let your child’s teacher know.
Students who play musical instruments also have the opportunity to play before the service. They will need to pick out a religious Christmas piece with their teacher. There is a sign-up below if a student would like to play.
