No School – Monday
There is no school next Monday, September 1st, for Labor Day. Enjoy the three-day weekend!
Volleyball Practice
This Wednesday is our first volleyball practice, which is open to students in grades 5-8. The practice will last from 3:00 to 4:30. Students should wear athletic attire to participate in practice.
Before Care – School Start
This is just a reminder that if a student arrives in the classroom before 8:00, that is considered part of before care. Teachers use this time to prepare for the day, so if your child is not using before care, we ask that they wait until 8:00 before entering the classroom.
Lego League Practice
This week starts our first official week of Lego League practices. Thank you to the parents who offered to provide snacks on Thursday and Saturday.
Thursday: 3:15 – 5:15
Saturday: 9:30 – 12:00
Amazon Wishlist
I wanted to share an opportunity for our families to support the teachers, classrooms, and education at SOTH – Amazon Wish List. Teachers will add items they would like for their classroom or the entire school to the wishlist through Amazon. You can check out the wishlist and purchase any items for the school. Once items are purchased, Amazon will send them right to the school, and we can put them to use.
Absences and Tardies
This is a reminder that the school day starts at 8:15, but it is helpful for students to arrive 5-10 minutes before getting settled in their classrooms.
If your child will be absent or late for the school start, please take a quick moment to let the teacher know. Parents are required to provide a reason for the absence and/or tardiness, so a quick text will help with that.
Tuition
This is a reminder for those making monthly tuition payments that the first payment is due by the end of the month. We have10-month payment plan to start in August and ending in May. We encourage families to set up monthly automatic withdrawals through our online payment portal. If you need to drop off cash or a check, please give it to Mr. Vogel.
SOTH Gear
Tomorrow our school apparel shop will open! This is a great opportunity to purchase spirit wear and other school-branded items for Shepherd of the Hills.
The shop will remain open until September 8th, so be sure to place your orders before the deadline. All items will be shipped after the store closes. You can access the shop using this link –

Wolf PAC (Parent Action Committee)
