Soccer Day
This Friday is Soccer Day for students in grades 3-8. We would like to be on the road by 8:15, so please arrive by 8:05 the morning of. Each student will have a shirt color to wear. I am waiting for the list, so I will send that out as soon as I have it. Student can bring their own lunch. and there are no microwaves available. Finally, students should not wear their soccer cleats, but are welcome to wear shin guards.
A reminder that if your student is not participating, they have the day off from school since both teachers will be assisting with Soccer Day.
Christmas Calendar – Update
On Friday, December 19, we will have our Christmas parties for the classroom, and this will be a half day with the students dismissed at noon. Aftercare will be available.
Christmas Caroling
On Wednesday, December 17, we will be heading to an elderly care facility to sing Christmas Carols for the residents. We plan to leave at 11:10 and be there for an hour to an hour and a half. Please take a moment to fill out this permission form to let us know if your child can attend and if you can help with driving.
Advent by Candlelight
Shepherd of the Hills will be holding Advent by Candlelight for all women of the church and school, and their female family members and friends (5th grade and older), on Sunday, December 7th at 5 pm. This is a free event. Please join us for this wonderful evening of the Word, music, and fellowship to help you prepare your hearts for the Advent season before the holidays get into full swing!

Basketball Practice
Basketball practice starts this week on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 – 4:15. It is open to students in grades 4-8. If you have any questions, please let me know.
Cocoa and Carols
Everyone is invited to join us on December 12 for Cocoa and Carols starting at 6:30 for a hot cocoa bar and carols sung around the fire.
Wolf PAC (Parent Action Committee)
Are you wanting a way to get involved, meet other parents, caregivers and adults, and hear about upcoming events?
Please join us for the next meeting of Wolf Pac (Parent Action Committee) Tuesday, December 2, at 5:30pm. Our goal is to support teachers and plan events for our youth. Hope to see you there.
Children’s Christmas Service
The children’s Christmas service is scheduled for Thursday evening, Dec. 18, at 6:30. All students are asked to participate in this event. If you know that your child is unable to make it, please let your child’s teacher know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
