Chess Program – After School
Our after-school chess program will start this Monday, March 16. We will have an 8-week session, and each session will run from 3:20 – 4:20. There will be no session the week of Spring Break.
If you have not filled out the registration form from the email, please do so before the first session on Monday.
Spelling Bee – Quiz Bowl
The Spelling Bee and Quiz Bowl are this week Saturday at CLHS. Teachers have communicated with families about who qualified for the Spelling Bee and Quiz Bowl on March 21 at CLHS. There is a devotion at 8:45, the Spelling Bee starts at 9:00, and the Quiz Bowl will start at 10:00 and run to 12:00/1:00.
Spring Break
Just a reminder that our Spring Break is from April 6 – 10. Also, there is a half day on the Friday before on April 4.
Second Trimester
Report cards for the second semester should have been sent home last week. We do not have set times for parent-teacher conferences after the second trimester. If you would like to speak with your child’s teacher about their progress, please reach out to set up a time.
Children Singing
The next time the students will be singing is on Palm Sunday on March 29. Students also have the opportunity to walk in the palm branches to start the service. Students can meet by the blue picnic tables before the service.
Soapy Joe’s Fundraiser
On the image above, you will find information about a Soapy Joe’s Fundraiser from March 27 – 29. Funds raised will go toward field trips and our 6th-8th grade class trip to Catalina Island next school year.
Yearbook Pictures
If anyone has pictures from any school events from throughout the school year, we would love to be able to use those for the yearbook. Below you will find a link to a Google Form where you can submit any pictures for the yearbook. We appreciate your help!
