Our first set of volleyball games is this week, Wednesday, Sept. 16. An email was sent about leave time and a Google form for driving and permission to go.
School Pictures – Sept. 18
Our school picture day is scheduled for the morning of Friday, September 18. Students are welcome to bring a change of clothes if they so desire after the pictures. Pacific Portraits will email parents with information about the possibility of purchasing pictures.

Lego League Practice
This week starts our first official week of Lego League practices. For those who are interested in helping with snacks, here is a link to sign up for the season.

Amazon Wishlist
I wanted to share an opportunity for our families to support the teachers, classrooms, and education at SOTH – Amazon Wish List. Teachers will add items they would like for their classroom or the entire school to the wishlist through Amazon. You can check out the wishlist and purchase any items for the school. Once items are purchased, Amazon will send them right to the school, and we can put them to use.
Panda Express – Fundraiser
On Monday, September 28, stop by the Panda Express at Grossmont, as Shepherd of the Hills will receive 20% of the event sales. You can bring in a flyer, which we will hand out, or order online or with the app using the code 3865295. The fundraiser runs from open to close on the 28th. Proceeds will help raise funds the Catalina Island trip for our 6th-8th grade class.
Children Singing
We normally have the students for a service at the end of September, but some construction will be taking place in our sanctuary, along with updating the flooring. The next scheduled time for the students to sing will be October 25 at our 9:00 service.
