No School – March 4th
There is no school this Friday, Marth 4th. We are hosting our annual Southern California Teacher’s conference that day.
Food Donations
Since we are hosting the Southern California Teacher’s conference, we are in charge of providing meals and snacks for the teachers. Most of the food items have been covered, but there are a couple of items left. If you would like to help, but have not yet contacted Anna Vogel, feel free to send her a text – (319) 538-4825.
Basketball Uniforms
Just a reminder to wash and return any basketball uniforms this week. Thanks!
Second Trimester
The end of the second trimester is on March 3rd which is just around the corner. Report cards will be sent home the following week.
Mrs. Ross Has a Call
Mrs. Ross has received a call to teacher 3rd grade in a school in Green Bay, WI. This means another school has asked her and her husband to teach and be principal at that school starting next school year. Please keep them in your prayers as they deliberate, and feel free to share your thoughts and feelings with her about her role as a teacher here at Shepherd of the Hills.
Talent Show
Shepherd of the Hills School is planning on hosting a Talent show for the students on the evening of April 7th. Students will be able to display any type of talent and can involve their family members if they would like. In the coming weeks, we will put out a sign up for students who would like to participate. They will need to share what they will do and the estimated time frame.
Children’s Theater Field Trip
The K-5th grade classes have been invivted to Californiat Lutheran High School (Temecula) on March 18th to see their children’s theater production of Briar Rose. Teh students woudl leave in the morning and return in the afternoon. If students are unable to attend, they would have the day off from school. Students in grades 6-8 will still have class.
Keep an eye out for an e-mail with a permission form and survey to see who can help with driving.
